Description
I outlined this in pencils, and then decided that it would work better with my more expressive charcoal style, so I used charcoal to render it. I guess this is as close to mixed media as I get.
For the record, I am a vegetarian.
I might still be able to add a bit more detail to this, and maybe work a little more on some areas of shading, but it is already complex enough to rival some of my pencil work, and honestly it freaks me the hell out, and I think I don't want to look at it any longer.

Thank you! I ran into this friendly goat on the way to work a while ago and it just sat there and posed for me, so I took a picture of it. I had intended on using it as reference for a drawing for a long time but I had trouble thinking of what to do with it. It was very nice and posed very kindly, so inspiration came from the idea of betraying it.

Interesting drawing on a controversial topic.

Thank you. This is not intended to be any kind of commentary on eating meat or any such thing. It was just an amusing concept.

A truthful metaphor, life feeds on life, animal and vegetable alike. Nicely done!

Thank you! I thought of this as a way of betraying the goat that posed for my photograph, but it is likely that the goat will eventually be eaten, so it may be more truthful than I had intended.
