Description

ENGLISH Sometimes, I will only summarize the clip(s) (telling the story in the third person) for: 1- Censored clip(s) 2- A subset of clips 3- Some clips that require extra explanations 4- Most clips of the first half of Episode 2, because there are lots of mixture of censored and non-censored clips. I will usually not translate the text in balloons that are : 1- Only noise made by the mouth, throat or nose; ex. "Snif!", "Slurp!" 2- Only punctuation; ex. "?" 3- Only interjections; ex. "Ouch!" "Heu!" 4- Only a single word (for most balloons); ex. "Yes!", "Michette!" However, I will include them if such word is part of a longer text; ex. "Ouch! It hurts my nose; snif!" Ionivka and some another character(s) are stuttering; I will not show that aspect in my translation. Instead of "T-T-The t-t-table," I will simply write, "The table.” One character is talking "verlan" (inverting the syllable of every word). I will translate verlan text as normal text, but I will add "verlan" as an identifier of the balloon type, like Sverlan: The nuclear reaction... instead of S: The arclenu tionreac... If a character tells a long comment, I usually split the text into 2 or more balloons, often of a different type. The text of the first balloon ends with 3 dots, the continuation text in the related balloon of the next clip starts with 3 dots. Often, if the content of the speech is not important but I want to give an indication of the situation, I write either the beginning, or the end of what the character is telling. Respectively, the text will either end by 3 dots, of will start by 3 dots. A good example is shown in my post, yesterday on Sept 14 : *A Basic Clip." Her ordicom (computer for Big-Feet) is playing a recorded lesson : "At the next lesson, we will introduce..." There is no need to write everything.

C'est vrai que cela ne doit pas être évident pour les non francophones de suivre l'histoire, mais à chaque page tu as la patience de tout écrire et de traduire en anglais, je trouve que tu fais un énorme travail 🌟
