Description

Big Mike’s Just Sitting Here Thinking: Dear FB friends and people of the world. I would like to introduce yall to my latest illustration. “Spirit Horse”. I have always loved horses, and what they have given to man, in return. The horse only asks for food, water, and shelter when the air turns cold on a long winter’s night. In a sense, this only resembles the wants and needs of its owner. A Horse can be used to transport their riders to any destination man sees fit to travel, also a horse may be used for herding cattle into a barn or along a vast prairie. I have read in some books that these majestic creatures were painted before a battle by many Native American peoples to assist them in times of war, and also become a loyal companion during times of peace. I believe that the horse, like all the other animals, who share the earth alongside man, have a spirit. This spirit can guide a warrior through all the days of his life, and meet him in the spirit world to guide him along his journey into eternity. I hope yall can dig this........... Thanks
