Description

So the first pic of Frankie was from the pet store the day I fell in love with her, but now she’s been here in her new screen enclosure for 3 days and she’s doing so well!!! She is SO much happier!!! At the pet store she did not have any fresh salad.. :( Now she gets fresh salad every day made with all sorts of Cham safe fresh fruits & veggies like collard greens and dandelions! She also has MUCH higher quality crickets that just came today fed ex! They are way fatter and look way healthier. The pet store crickets are crap and die quick, even if you feed them (gut load them) for your Cham. Maybe some stores have better quality but the ones I got Sunday were crap. She still ate then but it wasn’t very exciting for her. The new crickets are VERY EXCITING I’ve not seen her move that quick! LOL! She had the left over crickets from the pet store for breakfast and dandelion flowers for lunch and fat awesome crickets for dinner! She’s been such a sweet little Cham I just love her to bits. I love my cats and parrots too and my quails and chickens but I absolutely adore Frankie. And she’s so fun to watch when she eats and changes color! Ok anyway just a pic taken with my iPhone 11 pro. Now you know all about Frankie! ❤️ And pls I don’t need to be told what to do - trust me I’ve read and researched for hours and I’ve had a large lizard before and many other animals I take care of on a regular basis. I’m not an idiot. :)

Well she’s not anything fancy like some of the veiled chams have super bright colors but she is beautiful at least I think so :) thank you. I hope with her super good diet that when she sheds her old skin she will be more vibrant. They don’t get fed well in big chain pet stores :(

Because her lights make pics look washed out I add a bit more color back to the pic with my phone so her true colors do show :) ty!

the diet consists of mostly insects, many of them wont eat salad but it is very good for them, and it is good she eats it, she loves her greens and dandelion flowers. They eat some leaves in the wild. She will have real plants that are safe to eat soon ;)

She's a gorgeous girl! I've never owned one, but I love watching them - the way they can move their eyes independently is amazing. Sound like she's found a wonderful home.
