Description
Hello this lovely Sunday! So, I'm just getting over a nasty cold and was under the weather this week. I hope you didn't think I was just being unsocial... I did share a video earlier with you all, just before the brunt of the cold hit me and I was sneezing and sniffling. So, I was playing with my digital art when I felt better. Mostly out of boredom! So, when I wasn't felling to sick I can still get some creative stuff happening. As I've recently mentioned, I'm thrilled about my new computer I had built, which a refer to as my Digital Art Workstation, I custom built sacrificially for creating digital art and 3D rendering. I'm still playing with it. Man, what a difference in performance compared to my old computer. This one is running a Xeon based processor, with multiple cores and much more RAM than my older workstation had. So, what would usually take me over 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours to render, is in less than an hour in most cases. This scene, which I've called “Mission by the Bay” only took 38 minutes to render, and that's in a higher fine render mode. I can tell you that is much faster! I was amazed when the countdown display showed that it estimated a render time that short, with as many objects in the scene. Holy cow, I about fell out of my chair and was thinking NO WAY!! But, it did it ,with just some anti-aliasing also at the end. I was so Happy!! :-) This means I can make more complex scenes in the future and not wait as long for them to finish... Anyway, I hope you are all having a great weekend and also a beautiful day!! And I hope you like this digital artwork too! Take care my friends!!
