Very tough character, fantastic SF- image;reminds me of the movie Dune!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't a huge fan of Lynch's movie I must admit; a bit too Gothic/steampunk. I thought the TV series with William Hurt was a much better reflection of the novel; worth checking out if you haven't seen it, rather primitive CGI effects notwithstanding. (It was made in the days before huge budget TV productions like GoT).
