Description

slightly out of sequence; the last of my Dune renders for now... This was fun to make, as designing an ornithopter was an interesting challenge. Its actually two DAZ hoverbikes squished together, with a couple of pairs of insect wings from the old DAZ creature creator (the low level of detail is actually an advantage here) , the legs off a kruger machine gun, and a ton of morphed primitive cylinders and toruses (tori?) to make tanks, nacelles etc... maps using a combination of actual aircraft engine photos and a metal shader from EmmaAndJordi... Credits as per my previous pics in the series. The sand wake is 3d object from Spacebones. It wouldn't accept the sand texture, so I've resorted to an extra shallow DoF to get round that.
