Description
I recently had the opportunity to see the great bassist Lars Danielsson in concert. In his set he did a beautiful solo version of Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now", which she first released 50 years ago (!), and which has been covered since by countless artists ranging from ex-spice girls to Herbie Hancock (garnering several Grammies along the way). So here's a little hommage to celebrate both the song's "golden jubilee" and its writer. I've used a lyric from the song as the title of the piece.
The setting is DAZ's Deco Club. The instrument is Merlin's lovely acoustic guitar, with a skin of my own.
