Description
The Bristol Beafighter, sometimes known simply as "Beau", was a twin engine, heavy fighter, introduced by Great Britain early in the war. Heavily armed compared to other fighters at the time of its arrival, the Beau carried 4 cannons in the nose and six wing mounted machine guns, coupled with the ability to be armed with rockets, bombs, or torpedoes. Although it was hampered by problems in its early stages, it developed into a formidable bomber and torpedo platform by the end of the war. Remarkably, the Beau remained in service in some fashion until its retirement in the early 1960's.
Bristol Beaufighter: Excellent model by the late talented, and generous modeler, Neil Wilson. (Texture mods and some model modifications.
Model set up and prepped in PoserPro and C4d; composed, lighting, and rendered in DazStudio; finished in PSCs3.

Marvellous render of this classic warbird!

Let me echo that observation. Admittedly, I've always had a weak spot for Beaufighters; this render is a truly remarkable tribute to a wonderful aircraft.
P.S. I had no idea that Neil Wilson has passed away. What a shame.

Mostly wooden fuselage, and built by a boat/floatplane manufacturer. Excellent recreation of the type!
