Description
125 years ago, Rudyard Kipling created one of the most enduring and well-loved stories in English literature; so here's a completely imagined scene by way of tribute. The impatient Mowgli is taught the art of waiting still by the inscrutable Bagheera. The eagle-eyed among you will not that you don't actually find green jays in India, but I liked the look of them and I don't have any models of Indian birds!

125 years ago? I didn’t know that. Just reread it recently. Quite a worthy tribute.

Those green jays visit my backyard here in Deep South Texas. You know when there around as they make quite a bit of noise. Wouldn't want them around when I'm fishing =)
