Description

Two Sovereign airships afire, surrounded by swarm of Sovereign attack aircraft. A Mekaniks Clan Fixer wearing an airship engineer’s flit-pack, carrying a high-born Sovereign Lady gifted with telekinesis; a sentient compass-like artifact hovering above her outstretched hand. There’s something you don’t see every day — even in the Carthagian Badlands. Saved from certain death by Polonius and Lady Penelope, Pugs eagerly accepted the responsibility of keeping the Airship Andalusia running. Uniquely qualified to be the stolen Sovereign airship’s do-it-all chief engineer, he had no idea that “airborne rescue” was among the list of qualifications for the job. Undaunted by the prospect of performing an airborne ship-to-ship passenger transfer, he made a quick adjustment to the flit-pack’s thrust regulator and was on his way. He did not expect to find his soon-to-be-passenger tossing Sovereign soldiers off the deck of the burning airship with the flick of her wrist. Beautiful, blind, and seemingly fragile, Lady Katrin Killian appeared to be able to take care of herself. Known to the Sovereign as The Bitch of The North, she was outspoken critic of the Emperor's expansionist agenda. She and her devoted monks kept the mountainous region of the Northern Marches free of Sovereign incursion. Pugs had heard stories of the Frost Heart, a rare flower that grew in the high mountains of the Northern Marches, pushing its pale, spiny blossom through the snowpack to claim its place amidst the winter sunshine. In Lady Killian, Pugs saw the beauty and defiant spirit of that mountain flower. #steampunk #TheAirshipAndalusia
