Description

Just a quick render. I was working on collecting and putting together the "Young Alexa" character (based on my freebies Erin and Alexa), which, if you read the previous image post, explains the maze I travel when doing pretty much anything in Poser. This image is flawed in so many ways. The cubes are not really setup well to take procedural textures. I didn't make them, I'll probably make some of my own that have a better (for *me*) uvmap. So the texture on the cubes is uh-glee. Like something done by a lazy person, with minimal effort and dubious skill. Possibly even something exactly like that. The lighting is one of Ghostship's Superfly studio setups, to which I added a single spot as catch. I don't think I positioned the spot as well as I should have. But I find that a nice "go to" set of lights for studio stuff. The summer dress did well, but rather that tweak my cloth sim to get it perfect, I brutalized it with the morph tool to fix the mistakes that happen when the cloth sim doesn't work as well as it can (you know, when you take the time to do it right... which I didn't). Basically, me being lazy. The Character: this started as Alexa, which spawned new Erin, then I morphed a younger Erin, then back to a young Alexa. I removed all the morph tweaks (except the face, obviously), and the entire body is done with scales. Why? For clothes I tend to use, "follow scales" lets them fit with no other effort. Young Alexa is a character that will be used in a more complex piece I'm working on, where she'll be a daughter with La Femme and the eventual Le Dude. Since I'm using Mayu's texture and the character is meant as mixed asian, AND Mayu will be the basis for the mother in the later piece, I call her Little Mayu here :D Later tonight I'll post the character. Right now, I have two little wolf-like things (miniature huskies, aka Alaskan Klee Kais) practically draped over my shoulders, demanding their pre-dinner walk. Big bro and little sis. Big bro is pawing at my keyboard while little sis makes with "disney eyes". How can I say no to that? I mean, without endangering my life :p
