yeah, I'm with rod...it's like a sculpture or a jewel...it has fine proportions, the sweep of the lines are graceful, contrasted with the two bulbous spheres (and some smaller ones in between). It's really a design piece, with a kind of wooden background that goes back into infinity. But for all that, it's a chamber piece, it's intimate. You know, even though you often work with actual selections of nature and people and objects and places, you show a very strong design sense; and in pieces like this, that sense feels effortless and graceful. The proportions and balance are beautiful, Barb. (You definitely have those qualities as an artist---not everyone does; in fact, a fine-tuned design sense isn't common.) Plus the piece has a definite palette---ie, browns, reddish browns, undertones of purple...And how you come up with these in fractal software I don't know. (If you pay me a considerable sum of money, I'll post some of my fractals...then you'd have to pay for the lawsuits from the Fractal Gallery that ensued after I posted them. They're not pretty...) Creative and beautifully proportioned, and colored. I love the toned down lighting. Hope your holidays are bringing you uplift and peace, Barb. I hope all's well. Lots of blessings your way.
