Description
a midnight encounter between two cats of different stripes... Inspired by Douglas Fairbanks' silent classic "The Thief of Baghdad" (95 years old this year!), with a dose of Danielle Foussard from Hitchcock's "To Catch a Thief" (a personal fave of mine).
tweaked lights as per RRun's suggestion (thanks!) and corrected a few issues with the pose of the sleeping princess

It's excellent, it's worth zooming in on, well done

Like the yellow light from that lamp and the moonlight filtered through the lattice. I am not sure if I could have resisted to illuminate his face with a blueish low "invisible" light.
A happy and creative new year for you!

i was trying to keep her face shadowed though, to more reflect the black cat, so i adopted for a low level headlamp over the entire scene instead to lessen the depth of the shadows. Something more directional , maybe a tweak of the direction of the moonlight would have been a good idea in hindsight though... i'll give it a go when i get a free moment

films were much simpler in the ToB days, which is probably why we enjoyed them so much as kids :) nice work on the clothing forming to the stone bench, great atmospheric lighting too looks good in the zoom
