I can remember making all the metals for my Ducati in Carrera and then converting them to Poser materials for objects sourced in Wavefront.obj. Wonderful now for these non-precious forms to appear and make possible your render of this 1930's look brought forward. Distinguishing nickel plate from chrome plate to make authentic a Duesenberg or even Model A grille shell perhaps was silly as the "real" world chose a more familiar over a look unknown to modern taste. The dark is prediction which requires something to be projected from. WE never anticipate is how the chief of field service put failures to me. How magic your insight!

I love the light and contrasts in your car renders. Such smooth hues; and the contrasts of stark whites with blacks and reds (etc) are the cat's meow. Plus that black floor with those wonderful reflections. You make these look like big jewels. This one's especially active, with all the angles, open doors, etc. Beautiful work, richard.
(In college, we had a car that had 2 gazillion miles on it, and it started up everytime---I mean in seconds. The interior was like the ruins of an ancient city. The engine had R.I.P. written on it (and it was written 20 years earlier)...and, in addition to making enough noise to wake up Manitoba, it sat on the street in such ornery ugliness, no one would steal it even when we put signs on it, saying "pleeeease take this..." It would never make it in one of your renders, but man, that was a car...pardon me, I'm overcome with tears...)

Great render of this unique car, Richard! It would certainly give one pause, pulling up behind one of these... You'd be wondering just which way it was going to go! LOL
