Description
New year new picture. USS Enterprise in 1962. It was it's maiden cruise. I investigated all the squadrons with their tail hooks. Some were not really sure so I had to improvise. But I think to 90% all are correct. Here we see a F-4B of VF-102 on catapult one. The last check on the bridles are done and then, here we go...
On the background right you can see how an F-8H of VF-33 is moving to catapult two and in the background left the fins of A-5A of the detachment VAH-7. The crew had not the vests in 1962 like today.

Nicely done!!

She was commissioned the year I was born. All I ask is a bouncing flight deck and a nervous flight control officer excellent historical recreation!

Really nice render! Great point of view and the varied poses of the deck crew really contribute to the piece. Even the background activity with the F-8 is a plus. Great attention to detail.
