Description

This is not a comment on current events. I have a backlog of several weeks worth of pictures which I post in the order I create them, so it's just a coincidence that this picture is up for this week. This is, of course, a U. S. Army Air Force B-17G from World War II. The plane here is not the greatest mesh. After I rendered it, I had to do a significant amount of work in Photoshop Elements to get it looking right, particularly with regards to the chin turret, which is much too big on the model. For the bombardier I retextured a Japanese uniform, and I think it came out looking all right for a distant figure. I hope you'll all enjoy this look back at history.

I was fortunate to have walked through a B17 that is air worthy and flies around the USA. very narrow passage through bomb bay area.

very good work on this significant plane that done it's part along with the brave people that made up the crews
