Description
The planet Shamla was once an imperial retreat, in the days when the Grand Empire spanned fifty worlds (a small part of the estimated 9,500 colonized planets in human space, but still impressive in its way). That was three centuries ago, and the empire has long since fallen apart. The Grand Imperial Star Force now consists of four small corvettes, used mainly to catch smugglers and pirates, and a few support vessels.
Corvette-captain Alta Chulan commands one of those corvettes. The Star Force may be small and underfunded, but she takes her duty very seriously, and is proud to be carrying on the glorious traditions of the force.
