Description
I had planned on doing a drummer to go with my previous music themed images for a while, but decided to change tack on hearing the tragic news today of the passing of the great Neil Peart from brain cancer. The term "legend" is too frequently and loosely applied sometimes, but he truly was one, pushing the bounds of the instrument and thrilling audiences for over 45 years. I was lucky enough to see him numerous times, and he was always inspirational.
Thanks to Sixus for the wonderful drumset, which is fittingly badged "Peart".
