after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.
p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

Awesome dark and mysterious gothic scene Steve! I luv the dimly lit background and the lighting! The character looks good, and she looks like she belongs there. I'm trying to figure out what her purpose is for being there.....I'm thinking she might be on 'guard duty'.....and when, or if, she should see any suspicious activity......she's gonna 'whack' the heck out of that big ole 'bong', to warn the others that an enemy is approaching!! Anyways....that's just my thoughts.....'lol'!! About the Super Bowl.....I'm a Steeler's fan, and they didn't make it this year. Soooooo.....I'm gonna be 'rootin' for the Chiefs, because I like Patrick Mahomes. He's an awesome quarterback!! I'm gonna watch the game, and eat some pizza, and have a nice cold beer......'lol'!! I likey!!

Great color and outfit! Love the subtle tones and FX.
Broncos fan here too (grew up in CO), but my #2 team is the Niners. Spent a few years in NW Nevada, I could only listen to games on the radio, and all I could get was the Niners and Oakland, so I grew to like the Niners, even though they were horrible. The year I got back into Broncos country, was the year the Niners went to their first Super Bowl.
It should be a good game!

This is a really awesome picture ! The composition and the lighting are perfect and you're nicely crafted the character of the Gorgon Stheno with this subtle reptilian skin. This is a real mythological scene...A great work as always, my friend !

Fantastic fantasy image. Being a Chicagoan I'm a Bears fan so yeah I'm happy as long the Packers make it.

I'm just back for one, Steve, to say hello and send all my wishes your way...(I've been inundated with legal stuff ((will and property)), a bad cold, and other stuff I won't mention here) The pics I've seen of Stheno were meaner and more inundated with snakes than your portrait: You made her more quiet, more thoughtful and beautiful, she stands like she's contemplating rather than threatening. I love her posture, and how her snakes cling to her quietly. Great lighting with bronze and gold tones. And beautiful orange on that gong (or whatever that is to her left). A mysterious, thoughtful stheno. I hope you're well, Steve, I'll write soon. And I'll get to your other pieces when I return. All wonderful work as always.

Reminds me of Frank Frazetta. Awesome fantasy art...
