Thank you for the comments, looks, and thanks for being here! I don’t think eyes on top of the render can work. This is a test of size/detail on Instagram, my bugs are fun when starting small and doing a two finger zoom. Tom @BugsNouveau

not sure what instagram technique involves, but I love this piece, more of your gorgeous textile, panoply-like art, decorating another mythic creature of yours. And the blue tint is beautiful. I can see the eyes perfectly...but I wouldn't worry about their visibility---in any crowded surface like this, eyes will have to compete for visibility, it's just part of the texture. Considering how phantasmagorical real insects are (their wings are like stained glass windows), your version of them does them wonderful homage. Thank you for your recent comments and stories, I appreciated what you wrote about chicago...I've been away (and will be more in the coming weeks, due to sudden commitments), but I appreciated your memories, and I'm very glad you're back, and hope you have no more intrusions...it's good to see there was little interruption. A beautiful image, Tom, you do bugs very proud...
