Awesome work on this lovely Na'vi, Barb! She looks great, and the atmosphere is excellent. It's been a long time since our last visit to Pandora.. I've seen a few mentions of a new Avatar movie coming out - looking forward to that!

Now I need to dig out my DVD of the original.

I'm embarrassed to say I never saw the first Avatar (I live in a cave with no running water), but almost everyone I know has, and they all loved it. But I'm woefully ignorant of the imagery, so I can just say that this has a feeling of reality and dream, your pink tones and blues and the layering of imagery all add to a sense of a dream. I do recognize the face from all the stills from the film, and always thought they had a little bit of Native American in their faces. (If that's part of the story, I don't know it.) A fitting way to welcome the 2d installment. (Maybe I'll actually see the 1st before I see the 2d.) Really nice layering in this.
