well I'm back after another absence, and I'm slowly catching up...you've posted a number of beautiful variations since I was last online. This one feels more like an insect than a number of your others---in the very visceral, organic look of your metal work (so to speak). It looks like a stylized interior of an insect. Really fine work on the light and detail---it almost has a chandelier inside. And the legs are like finely wrought metal. A real beauty.
I assume your gallery is back full force again? (I'm glad.) And if I didn't say it before, thank you for your great comment on your visits to chicago. You captured it all in your words. The amazing thing about Wrigley Field is that it's nestled into a real neighborhood---I mean if you stroll that neighborhood, with its little 3 flats, narrow streets and trees, you'd eventually turn a corner, and---boom! A major league stadium! You got the spirit of the place (they're friendly to people, but not to the opposing team---they can be brutal to other teams.) And the feeling that Aykroyd and Belushi will pop in is exact too. I saw the original Second City---early 60s---I was a young teen, but it was exciting as all getout, and you knew they were onto something big. And the gangster element has never left here, either. Thanks for your memories. And I hope your run in with the admins here is over. It's happened to a number of fine artists here, and I'm glad your gallery is still very much alive.
