Description

Just messing around..."a dog lost in the big city..." (photo and photoshop)... ------------ Sorry I've been so absent! I've had family health issues, then I got a bad cold (none of which incl the coronavirus fortunately), and I returned to submitting writing to the literary market once more, which is tiresome, draining, should be rewarded with free widescreen tv's, and either a vat of valium or tequila. I just haven't had much energy left over... But: I've seen everything, and started commenting today, and will get to all of you over the next several days. I can't catch up on everything yet, but I'll spend as much time as I can with all of you, regardless. In the meantime, I hope you're all well, hope none of you have been effected by viruses, crazy leaders, crashing financial markets, and whatever else is falling out of the sky...I just hope you're all well! Thanks for your wonderful visits, everyone, and I wish you all a fine week Mark (the pic is 2 blocks from home...and the sidewalks aren't actually those colors: my camera was on heavy meds that day) ------------------

I was missing you and your beautiful work, Mark...glad to know all's well with you :)

I do like how you've used filters, etc. for this photo...the colors are scrumptious...at first you got me worried about this pups, but then I saw the leash and the human at the other end :)

Good to see your wonderful, colorful work again, Mark! Yeah, you've got to take care of family first, as well as your own health, buddy! With all this virus stuff going on everywhere you've got to be careful!

Anyway, I love this wonderful shot and postwork with the little dog (although I think he has a human in tow...LOL) Take care, and I'm looking forward to your return!

Beautiful photo and neighborhood. The sidewalk looks like it was painted many times over the years and then stopped being painted years ago. Glad to see you are well and submitting your writings to the literary market. Sorry about your family health issues.

Very glad to see you back Mark and very happy you've recovered from the flu. Family always is first. My job is the same way, they value family over putting out bread. That C V is causing huge fears, a 20ft section of TP at kings soopers is wiped out, Safeway both stores I work at stocking bread also had some, very little. Bout 85% gone, sanitizers are gone, liquid hand soaps 90% gone or all gone. Hand wipes and other cleaning sanitizers are gone or low.

Not sure how it is in your city. But happy you'll be ok my friend.

Can't quite see the person walking the dog, appears to have a over the head garment. Thought it sorta look like Darth Vader. Cool dog and magnificent image reconstruction/manip. Take care Mark.

Hi Mark, it's good to see you post. It's ok that family and real life comes first.

This is a fun and really sweet image. The dog may or may not be lost, but he seems to be making a bee-line for the colorful spots on the sidewalk and I don't blame him. Darn, you gave away the fact that Chicago streets don't really look like this... I don't think I believe that, I think you live in a marvelous wonderland where the green is greener and the leaves are on fire. Where puppy dogs dance and sidewalks bloom. I'm glad you can celebrate your home; I always like to see these photos.

Thanks for the nice comments on my images! Good luck with the writing!

OH WOW! Just what I needed this morning. A beautiful and colorful image from your hand. I can see the fun you had with this. Yes, I see the little doggie with his "Security Wire" to his slave :) Was just popping in to post good wishes to everybody in this World Crisis. Stay well and take care, Dear Mark :)

Wow, that is one busy photograph, enhanced by further Photoshop color digifiddling. And the pooch, forgotten and homeless, seems dismayed by it all. Hey, buddy, can you spare a dime? Actually, viewed at this distance and its size, it could pass as a cat. Glad your bout with the cold is over and that you're back on Renderosity. You must take it easy and regain your strength, especially in these turbulent and threatening times. Especially at your age, and more than important to me at my very advanced age of 92. I feel I'm receiving a death sentence each time I read the on line news and watch television. Health professionals claim that the coronavirus is the perfect elder killing machine. That is so encouraging. My son thinks it's all hysteria. I don't agree. All that plus my mutual funds have nose dived in the stock market. Markets being cleaned out of products - toilet paper, vitamins, flour, water, sanitizers, et al. Far worse than the Cuban Missile Crisis back in the early 60s. Way to go, people! After all this....what? I live with crossed fingers every day. Me paranoid? Could be. That said, be well and keep up the good work, my friend.
