Description

Rework of an old abstract. Photo, Photoshop, Painter. --------- I've tried to post some writing, but it's not been good. But please know that I've given my all to commenting, even if I'm way slow right now. You all continue to post amazing art, and I'm grateful to see it all. I have some sick people in my life...not with COVID, but still I'm on the phone a lot, and writing emails, and I'm just tired (and sad). But I know you're all dealing with a great deal (incl those of you who are caring for loved ones, and all of you living in the worst zones), and I wish all of you the very best. My blessings and hopes to you all, and let's hope this virus leaves the earth as quickly as it did in China, S. Korea and a few other places. Love and healing to all, stay well and strong, Mark (2 images today, because I've posted so little. You can comment or just look...but my thanks, as always, for your visits) ---------------

Hi Mark first of all I'm sorry for your tiredness and above all for the sadness. Don't be sad, you are a person of great culture and sensitivity always attentive to the work of others of whom you can read in depth. Don't be sad you are a special artist with a particular and unmistakable style. Don't be sad because I think I can say on behalf of everyone here you are a well-liked and appreciated person. Don't be sad and stay healthy !!

These petunia images are fun and colorful and cheery. I love the colors so much. The top one full of rainbows and good cheer and the bottom one looks like they're going to seed. Seeds that will sprout new hope and new cheerfulness.

I'm so sorry you're struggling with life and all this... stuff on top of helping loved ones. You are always in my prayers. May everyone in your circle stay safe and be comfortable.

These are wonderful and colorful images - so full of the light we so desperately need in these dark days. The petunias in the top image look as if they're made of iridescent satin, just begging to be touched. The bottom ones seem to be saying 'as the darkness encroaches, we still retain our life and color' and so must we.

You are a light and an inspiration to us all, Mark! Hopes and prayers that those close to you will find healing and health, and you can find calm and peace once again. May we all find it sooner than later...

Mark, you always present us with wonderful eye candy--these two images rank right at the top of the list...sort of a psychedelic trip--thank you :) I sincerely hope you are able to shake your present emotional state because it will wear on your physical being. These times are difficult (I live in Queens, so I know how difficult things are) but we mustn't succumb to the weight of the situation. Stay safe and be at peace.

Glorious gorgeous in your "Just an Upload," posting, Mark! A veritable explosion of loverly color schemes and particles. And, your narration does sound wistful, virtually to a So long, it's-been-good-to-know-ya effect. Who knows the final chapter to this poisoned planet? This war is even worse than World War II. And I should know at my age. At least we could get together physically back then, undivided by hateful political posturing and toilet paper hoarding, and without the worry of infecting ourselves and others with the deadly COVID-19.

I understand how difficult it is to write when distracted, especially with loved ones sick. I wish the best for you, take care.

Thank you so much, dear Mark for your encouraging words. I admire these Petunias, the colors are decked out in an overwhelmingly rich palette. The bottom image you have given a kind of speed, as if, especially the right one, has a tail; it also reminds me of a flying star. And then something special about these lower Petunias: I've never seen any of them with freckles, but they look really nice. btw. As a child, I had a lot of freckles, and I was called "the freckle queen", I was not happy at all with this, I "hated" it. Stay well, dear friend, I hope the Corona virus will pass you by. God bless you, Mark.

I like these two variants. They are eye-catching and make me think of '60s and 70's pop-art posters.
