Description
Echo is running errands, while police guard a park to keep folks from congregating there.
(As far as real life goes, there hasn't been a similar order for local parks away from Chicago's lakefront, but who knows if that won't change when it gets warmer).

Some random thoughts:
• On YouTube when I was ranting about people needing to stay home during the outbreak, someone responded that I should take my own advice and stay home as well. I was asked why was I "putting money over people's lives?"
My default answer was that I worked in grocery, and that was an essential service. Should I feel guilty regardless?
When commuting to and from, and at work I'm trying very hard to practice good social distancing (more so than I usually do, truth be told) and hygiene. And on days off I'm staying HOME unless it's for groceries.
I'm very sorry that folks are having it HARD in these times, but my rent still needs to be paid, and I'm certain to face some serious issues about that in a month when my lease is up.
• Dystopia City Blocks looks better from a distance. I'm sorry that Moebius87, Ajax, and Billy Home no longer have their products at the other store. I hope they will "reboot" their products one of these days, but still support 3Delight. Just out of curiosity, those using DS, are you still rendering in 3Delight?
• If I survive this mess, and still have this apartment I'm getting a second computer. Typing and browsing on a phone (while my laptop is busy rendering) is a pain.
• I wish I had a better support system (where I live) in place long before this. Lone wolves don't stand much of a chance in this outbreak. When you hear about neighbors and friends coming together in times like these, somehow that doesn't apply to me.
• An acquaintance told me more than a week ago that "it is what it is." This virus won't "magically disappear," and I'm certain the stay-at-home order mandated by the state will be extended. Until, at the very minimal, I figure a way how to keep my apartment, what else can be done? Just exist (never mind thrive) within these new parameters?
I think I've said too much at this point. Thank you for your comments and views. Be safe, take care of yourselves and each other.

Nice render, the streets are definitely deserted. Sounds to me your job is essential and food is needed to live. At least it is for me. The three most important essential's for me are Food, Water and Air. Great job.

Let's hope this thing is beat by the time it gets warm up there.

You are fulfilling and important duty and I know I myself thank you and the others out there!! We can only take it day by day right now. Thinking long term is not good for now. Yep I still use 3Delight. My computer won't handle iray. Hang in there!!!!

I guess that's best at present time, seems like some sci fi movie. I myself work at grocery stores and stock bread for Safeway, kings, Walmart and others as needed. I've seen lots less customers at these stores. One of my Safeway stores is the or was busiest stores in my state. This whole new world is going to write a huge history in our lives and future generations.
Take care at the grocery store. I Got 5 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Both you and Steve are providing an essential service for the rest of us, and putting yourselves at risk doing so. You deserve our thanks, support and so much more!
Great job on this image, Wes!
My DAZ machine has an RTX2080ti GPU so Iray isn't a problem for it.

Great if depressing scene. Hopefully, your governor will do the same as the Mayor of Portland, Oregon and put a moratorium on evictions because people cannot pay their rent.
Desgar
Thanks, Mike. There is a moratorium on evictions at least until May 1, when the stay-at-home order (which was just extended) is supposed to end. I'd still need to negotiate a new lease around that time though.

Fantastic creation and great decor !!!

Very trying times for all of us! We have so many lessons to learn from this! Will we learn them or just go back to business as usual once the pandemic tapers down? Time will tell if someone hasn't cut its tongue out before this. LOL. Very nice image! Gotta cut down on pollution too by keeping the streets vacant. A nice side effect.

Thanks, Bill. One would think the high number of casualties would be enough to consider major changes in how things are/were done, but I have my doubts. Citizens (not corporations, not public action committees) need to raise their voice, loud and often, to get change to happen. And not just at the ballot box, or on YouTube.

Well I for one thank you for your work. It's not easy working at times like this, the last thing one wants is to get sick. but things still have to be done. I for one started up work this Monday. and I have to tell you I for one am glad to go back to work. I was so board staying home and only going out to the store. even though I had money saved away for an emergency and I could hold out for some time, I still prefer working.
Have a good one and stay safe!
Desgar
Glad you're out and working, Dan. Stay safe out there.

Yes, that's it, in ever city just empty streets! I saw yesterday a picture of the current state of air pollution in the different countries, you will hardly believe this curfew and the driving ban have done something good for Mother Earth, now she can at least breathe a little better again!!!
Desgar
I guess that's a good side-effect from us being shuttered in. Maybe, just maybe, we will try to get serious about climate change once folks see the difference when there aren't as many cars on the road, among other things.
