I'm just your boring average ex-account who wasted a lot of his youth playing fantasy RPGs (Role-Playing Games), specifically Dungeons & Dragons and Stormbringer/Elric, originally for outside Philadelphia PA who turned to computer graphics as an artistic outlet. I spent 30 years from the mid 80's to late 2012 living in Palm Beach County FL (North Palm Beach to be specific), working for not-for-profits in the social service and health care arena, but suffered a health crisis due to undiagnosed diabetes which had me in the hospital for 5 months, cost me part of my left foot, and has taken several years to recover from. I now live in Milford DE to be near family. My diabetes has left me with advanced renal disease, forced me to start dialysis, which I can fortunately do at home, but has me locked up for an hour four times a day (which allows me plenty of time to keep up on my gallery comments), but I still have a fair amount of independence and my health issues aren't nearly as bad or inconvenient as many others are. Most of my work is inspired by those fantasy RPG campaigns I wasted a lot of my youth on. I tend to post series of images with rather lengthy narratives that add up to short stories, or chapters in on-going tales. Thank you for your interest and attention!
Update:
Due to a very seriously broken ankle and shin I've been stuck in a wheelchair for over a year with an external fixator on my right leg, but I'm still managing to get by on my own.

Thank you all for your time and interest... I hope you and your loved ones are safe and well!
For those unfamiliar with the setting, here's a little primer for the Forgotten Realms terms used above:
Blackstaff tower - the home of famous and powerful wizard, Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun, and his wife, the equally powerful and well respected spellcaster, Laeral Silverhand Arunsun, as known as the Lady Mage of Waterdeep.
Jester's Court - one of dozens of open areas within the urban sprawl of Waterdeep. It is known to be frequented by entertainers and ladies of the evening.
Tel Teukiira - a secret society lead by Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun and Laeral Silverhand Arunsun dedicated to the greater good.

Another great chapter. I hope Laeral is able to help

Thanks again for all your kind comments and interest... I hope you and your loved one remain safe and well! I resist using characters featured in published material, since other people have their own established interpretations of them, but you can't really have a story set in Waterdeep that involves the Tel Teukiira without getting Laeral involved. So I decided if I was going to do it I'd throw her right in the middle of things. The next couple of images are going to get me in trouble with other Forgotten Realms players/readers, because my version of Laeral isn't exactly what you see in most renderings of her.

Excellent addition to the story, and Raven looks quite lovely indeed!
One of the beauties of art is in the personal interpretations we each have of our heroes in these stories. Of course having said that, I still want to know how Peter Jackson managed to get into my head all those years ago - his LOTR characters were pretty much as I imagined them when I first read the books.

I agree, the LOTR characters were spot on... I think there was a sort of a shared interpretation of what J.R.R. Tolkien's characters were like because the novels have been so beloved for so long.
My version of Laeral, on the other hand may not be well received.
