interesting abstract look.

The unfinished green center is really the whole point of this piece. It is visually quite jarring, as I assume it is supposed to be. I find this intriguing, and vaguely related to my own "vacĂo elaborado" series of abstracts where I try to make empty space be the protagonist (I am working on the third official entry as I write this)

This is very nicely done.

another great comment by tuerda, and I agree about the unfinished green section. Though that lime-green exclamation sure seems to want to steal the scene. While you used oil pastels (the goriously smeary clumped beasts that they are), you've gone against their 'will' by cordoning them off with very straight borders, as if you used cutouts (which I assume you didn't). So it's smeary and messy, but also very minimalist. And you have mostly primary colors---that lime green has something to say about everything, butting into the whole gathering with real arrogance--I like that dude! And I love that the lower green area (dark green) is inside a red triangle: Complementary colors, they vie and argue. For a minimal piece, you have some real conflict going on. This is a scene with argument, emanating from some very defined characters. When I worked with oil pastels, I created mush (you should see my dry pastels---they could put you in the hospital): But you make wonderfully playful and strong statements out of them. And some very intense portraits, too...
