A most wonderful and lovely Easter card, my friend! Hope yours was as good as possible in these trying times.
You certainly found a wonderful spot to self-isolate... I just get to sit in my house and listen to my #$%^% neighbors' loud rap-crap...

Yeah, not as easy to create art these days, although your environment has some exquisite nature to keep you company. If it weren't for the need to make a living, and for the little microscopic invaders all around, it could be alot more peaceful. (You've seen pictures of the virus, right? I mean, it looks cute, it actually looks cute...it looks like a toy that a dog would play with. And you wonder, how can a ball with little umbrellas sticking up---in beautiful reds---be so deadly??? It's not alive--it only reproduces when it clings to a 'host:. How did it get so deadly?)
Well this next installment to your animal-in-a-hat series is a delight. It's doused in pinks and slate pinks, and, well, all manners of pinks...soul pinks (because of the depth of the hues...w/ blues woven in at a deep under-level). Love the bonnet, the ribbon around the bunny's neck, and the plantlife on the bottom. You have an almost powdered-clay-pink in the lower portions, they feel like beautiful pressed flowers, with that old-powdered-rouge-like feeling, like their blooms have taken on a nostalgic feel, they've acquired that 'wisdom' that pressed flowers have. Or like you sprinkled them with a delicate muted-pink powder....really beautiful, inward hues. (Really, there's something touchingly reflective about this.) The shapes of the flowers and leaves---on the bottom---weave in and out of each other, crawling over each other the way rose petals open up all over each other. It's very rich. And the rabbit is done in your usual deep detail (ie, with attention to the hairs, their patterns and changes of hue---this is something one comes to expect of your animal work.) And you got the rabbit face down pat: pudgy, a little surprised to be anywhere, looking slightly crosseyed, and adorable. I love that bonnet---it's all over its head, it looks like a child when one puts a big bonnet on them: not quite sure what just happened, but adorable as it gets. (Ie, y captured childhood, which I always thought was key to Easter celebration.) That ribbon around its neck is to die for: purple with slate and touches and a blueish undertone. (Pink with blueish undertone is very different then pink with reddish or even yellow undertones.) On the bonnet, the ribbon is more luminous pink, with more light. Then, the flowers on the bonnet are much like the flowers on the ground---a mix of new with old, and (too) like they've acquired a beautiful, aged bloom. And the trim along the edge is filled with flowers---I assume knitted. Again, no space is bereft of your attention and love. A beautiful bonnet.
You top it off with a muted pink sky (with greens and grays, etc). Its quiet nature sets-off the rabbit by being gentle and reflective. (There really are serious undertones in this.) You still got your sky-textures here, with hints of flowers and other plantforms hidden in it. This is a smaller image, compared to your others (at least on my screen, which is large), but packed with art. And it has the intimate hues one found on the earliest cards (which were not mass made, and often had paper lace on them as well). Intimate, inward, lush and beautiful. You even have buds weaving their way to heaven. Beautiful work as always.

Wow, Mark, you made that funny little Easter bunny sound pretty damn amazing. Thanks so much for your awesome comment. I do like the muted pink tones, and they reminded me of the past. When I was a kid I used to love playing dress up, and especially loved fancy hats. In those days the women wore hats, and my mom had this one with big pink flowers. Man I loved that hat. She also had one with these iridescent mauve beads on a kind of barret which I loved and tried on often. So the love of hats is in my blood. And I also used to dress up my dog, in, you guessed it, bonnets. Poor Laddie. He was a wire-haired terrier and used to put up with being dressed up and driven around in a buggy. I loved that sweet dog who lived to be very very old. And now I am all grown up and still dressing up bunnies, and cats, and who knows what will be next. Interesting how fond memories of my childhood have found their way into my art. I often will create something and then later will realize it came from a seed planted many years before. Watching that seed grow in so many different and expressive ways is part of the beauty and wonder of art.
