Description

For those who may be interested in protecting yourself and others in style, I have made selected artwork available on face masks. I will be donating my profit to the local food bank in the mountains. It seems like a good use of my art to hopefully help others during this pandemic. The masks are a double layer of cloth (polyester) with a pocket inside to insert a filter if wanted. They are made in the USA and are available through my gallery on Fine Art America, and take about two weeks to receive. They are $13.50 each and shipping is free. I have a fairly wide selection of images in my mask gallery for women and men. Gilpin is reported to be one of the hardest hit counties in the country. This is because most of the working people in the community are employed by the casinos and hospitality industry, which has basically been shut down. Before the pandemic, it was a thriving mountain community in Colorado. Now it is struggling. I've sold quite a few masks and hope to sell many more to support the food bank. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this, Carol. Your art looks smashing on that fabric---it's so vivid. I've seen lots of masks (I'm in a huge crowded city, and have "seen them all," as they say), but these are the most beautiful masks I've seen anywhere. I'll be buying some...I saw the site and saw that you offer tons of selections from your eye-popping sumptuous art. And I applaud your using two layers, with a space for filters. (I used a cotton scarf, and when I doubled it, I looked like a bank robber from 1850's Wyoming! These will be a vast improvement...) (Really---someone asked me if I had my pearl-handle six-shooters...) Your art is so sumptuous and oceanic, it's so great to see them on masks..and thank you for giving the proceeds to a food bank. Wonderful stuff. I hope people buy them. Adding beauty to a dark time...Thank you, Carol. I'm very grateful.

Mark, thanks so much for your comment. I'm so glad you like my masks. During these dark times why not brighten our spirits a little and help others, too. I just added the sea turtles ink art to the collection. Hope you find some that don't make you look like a bandit.

Now those are cool! I love how colorful and beautiful these are - and what a wonderful way to support your community.

I may have to do some TNA masks (I have a FAA store also). There are plenty of places in the KC area that could use some help.
