Super image, great atmosphere.

Excellent use of painter, wonderful image. I like its "softness", the progression of the "ponds" into the horizon, and the reflections. The use of blues and browns are well done. Good work!

every so often you get really graphic, in the boldness of your forms, and in the flatness you allow. This has both, and the flatness---which covers parts of your image---makes it almost a children's illustration. It has fancifulness, and a kind of folktale or fairy tale feeling. Your sky and horizon are very flat/graphic, and I love how the sky morphs to a darker green, with those beautiful cloud puffs out there. (On the right, the clouds look like a lineup of pigs or sheep, which I think is delightful.) The lone trees in the back portion of the land make your image feel like a desert (which has its own mysteries). But the water---repeated in 'puddles' that lead to the sea---feels rich, with beautiful reflections. A very rich image, while also feeling simpler than it is. Beautifully done. These treatments feel like illustrations for very old folktales that we haven't heard yet...always a treasure when you show up here, Nikolay. You always do deep and deeply imaginative work.
