Description
Every so often, Richard (Richardphotos) posts a free image, which we can do whatever we want with. (Thank you, Richard!) I should tell him: Never offer me a free image: I'll demolish it...
Well, this is from Richard's original: 2001-a-space-odyssey-free. I left it large---more detail in zoom---it's just me messin' around with a very sweet original. If you're trying to figure out the letters and scripts: They're just play---they don't spell a thing. Just computers on steroids.
(Among Richard's many talents that I love ((which I enumerated in a previous dedi, but which are always worth repeating)), he occasionally posts sci fi images; they show the same care and terrific eye he shows in his other art.) (And don't get me started on his landscapes...ay ay ay, what an eye this guy has...)
Anyway, I hereby announce that I'm gonna do as much light and celebration as I can in the coming weeks, to counterbalance this covid &#!)#%. So if your eyeballs are getting reeeeeealllllly tired, just take it as my loud attempts to get up and dance! You may need RayBans, but hey, at least they're bright. (I'll post some writing too. Stay tuned...)
Stay well, everyone! And try not to crawl the walls...and thanks as always for your wonderful love and support! We're all providing an answer to the viruses of the world: Art triumphs all! I wish you all inspiration, light and total health! Mark
(for "Genre," I wanted to put, "Art-Theft"....but I chose "fantasy" instead...thanks for the art, Richard!)

Wonderful to know someone is using this stay-at-home time to urge their creative self to good use, Mark...I am not familiar with the original of this particular piece by Richard, nevertheless, you have achieved some interesting vignettes decomposing his scene...do like the "all seeing eye." Thank you for sharing your talent with us, Mark, especially now during these most strange and vexing times--viewing your art is truly a bright spot in the day....Stay safe.

I just commented on Richard's original and now to comment on your interpretation, Outstanding work, Mark. Stay safe and sane, Mark. If you're insane, just run with it as you did with Richard's photos.

These are cool renditions of the original image Richard posted. All of them are interesting and other-worldly. The top one looks very instructional, like a blueprint from a set of architect's instructions with inlay details. The center one is very stark and to-the-point in it's black and white coloring. The last one is trippy and far out like a sci-fi dream. The bottom panels are just plain cool.

This is wonderful, Mark, and a great bit of light and fun with Richard's original. You are indeed a shining light in all this darkness, good sir - and your wonderful, colorful explorations are most welcome - Ray-bans or not! šš

Great work with which you gave new life to the work of the artist to whom you dedicated it by adding with your analysis an additional tool with which we can better appreciate the beautiful work of Richardphotos.
