Yes, that is a 3D model very much like the D&D creature called the Beholder that I am using as a stand-in for an enlarged stylized version of the Coronavirus. Yes, those are old Poser 4 human heads that I am using for people.
Symbolizing the needed 6-ft between people to avoid infecting others.
Yes, that is six feet as in American Units (still not sure why we haven't adopted the Metric which I think makes more sense).

Nice. I live in the UK and, even though we supposedly went metric years ago, I still measure in feet and inches as in English Units. Gallons and pints for liquids. Being old, Metric means little to me whereas imperial measurements have proper value. I even still convert prices to pound, shillings and pence (£/s/d) to appreciate true values. :-)
