That would be an extreme confinement! An old drawing of mine (1977); that was one year after I discovered this freak character; I decided to make her have the main role for a future comic book project. My skill in drawing was still improving. I was starting to think about a science fiction adventure that would be at the opposite of the ones that I knew about; a type of anti-heroine ... without being a loser. She would be seeing and feeling things that nobody believes, but that came out to be true. She would be an engineer and her life would be difficult in a post-apocalyptic, but somewhat rebuilt, world under a military regime. Later, as I was working on improving my BD style drawing style, I decide to imagine a world with 3 types of mutants : Non-Mutants, Fine-Eyes and Big-Feet; the latter being the slaves of the other types. That process took about 1 year and a half; it was done when I had some rare free time. When word processors became available and affordable during the cybernetic Stone Age, I started writing various scenarios involving this character : Ionivka. My Social Comments End of Confinement? Most of us is living through a confinement experience until we reached almost the depression or madness state; it is almost a torture ... without any physical evidence on our body. Was it planned? I do not know, but those who want to grab absolute power over the population are noticing this fact. Exhausted, tired, desperate, we will be ready to accept any "recommendation" from our all-powerful bureaucrats, using "science" as the foundation of their new restrictive regulations. Be aware that being a scientist does not guarantee about his/her honesty. There is such a thing as corrupted scientists; they will say what those who grant them money for their research, will tell them to say or to hide (Do you remember about the "scientific" research on the effect of tobacco on the smoker's health, during the 1950s?). We will be lured to bargain our freedom for being permitted to get out of our confinement. Be aware of that; be ready to reject such a bad deal, and to fight for a better one. Back to Normal? There will be no more back to normal; the world around us has already changed a lot, irreversibly, not physically, but socially and politically. We will be still in crisis, under a tight supervision of a police state. Those who dissent will be harshly punished for public "security" reason. We will be ready to trade our freedom for "security”; indeed, for a false sense of security. We will always be maintained in a state of constant changing crisis; it is known as the normalization phase of a subversion campaign, as described by Yuri Bezmenov : a defected ex-KGB agent, during the late 1980s. Normalization? I am witnessing that our situation is worsening at such a fast pace, that I am not even sure that the Renderosity site will survive, as it is, without being infiltrated by unwanted globalists, hostile and greedy investors who will transform it into a surveillance social network platform, like Facebook, Apple, Google, Microsoft and Twitter that I am avoiding at any cost. This site might even disappear. A new unconventional world war is indeed being waged, but nobody dare to say it officially. We might also experience food shortage, electricity instability, communication disruption, water shortage, garbage collection neglect, increase of kidnapping and criminality; my late loved one has experienced all that, in her country of origin, 30 years ago. My Posting Plan for the Coming Summer For these reasons, I will try to accelerate the rate of my postings on the Ionivka series, at the expense of most of my other types of postings; the latter ones will become less regular. The limit of that rate is imposed by the limit of my skill in the English translation of my comic book, and by my need to get out of my house during that so short summer. There will also be some posts related to world events that I feel urgent to comment on. In other words, I will continue to post pictures of Ionivka series during the summer, but at an irregular interval, and irregular time of the day; usually, I do not post anything during summer. I hope to post the whole episode 5 during that season, and to start posting the episode 6 from about mid September ... if we still have some freedom left.
