(I want to get to some of your most recent uploads, but it's going to be hard, because I want to comment on so many of them along the way!) This is very watercolor-ish, with beautiful hues and a wonderful fine-grain in many sections. You layered sensitively too---letting the lines of her body and clothes seep through the frame and other sections of the painting. You have the sleek lines and gaze that we often see in Yves' work, but this is wholly yours. I love her hand on her shoulder---the lines of her fingers blend beautifully with the other lines around them. The four "frames"---those wooden-like borders---are perfect; and you position the woman beautifully within them. She's jumping out of the box, but she's also harmonizing with it, beautifully. Beautiful work, Ute. And I'm beginning to wonder: Is there any style you don't do well??? So far, I haven't found one...
