Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

well you already know how I feel about this---I love it! As I did the previous night painting (I saw your ebot and jumped out of my bed!!!) I love your crammed city-scapes, you get the "din" of these streets, the way the signs fight with each other for space, and the shout-fest of all the colors and patterns. (Lots of Chinese characters---this is either a 'chinatown' or it's in China itself---probably an imaginary city.) As you're one of our masters of montage-and-collage, this is right up your alley. You have a darker bottom and a darker top, so that middle section---with all the signs crowding each other for attention---really stands out. And then, there's the "easter egg hunt," to see all the details (a jester, a king/queen, a couple---dead center, above the back store windows---a playing card, and so on). And you've whooshed over the painting with a palette knife, leaving all kinds of textures...and I see some of your gelli patterns (or similar) sneaking in; not to mention a physicist's blackboard (!) on the lower left! Where'd you get that little gem??? Did you sneak into Einstein's study? (Say hello if you see him! Always like his hair!) The two people in front draw us right into this illuminated scene....If I recall, the first of these paintings had lots of Arabic lettering: You're traveling the world in this series! I love it! Hope you do more...and welcome back to RR, for god's sake, if even for a short visit. You're always welcome here!

That is quite amazing! You did it with paper and acrylic. I am very impressed. I am also glad to see a post from you and know you are doing well. Thanks for sharing.

The artwork is well worth the wait. Taken as a whole, this is a very strong composition with great color. The details really set this one apart from city scenes by other people. There is so much to see, and we are rewarded for our efforts. Marvelous!

OMG, I was going to say everything Mark said above, but he beat me to it. Ironic that you chose your Chinese collage to post, because that's where the present Coronavirus/Covid-19 first originated. You put a lot of work into this labor of love collage, and it came out absolutely cool. Stay well there in Denmark, Helle.

OMG! Helle! Sooo good to see your work again, my friend - and this is spectacular!! Looking at this wonderful work just makes me smile - and smiles are sooooo desperately needed these days... I can't even imagine the time it takes to put something like this together - but I could spend hours just exploring it!
Welcome back even if only for a short time (don't stay away so long, though! LOL)

It looks amazing here - but the way you describe it, I'm sure it must be 100% more awesome to see the real image. Very well done!

This is pretty great. I was going to say more, but anahata.c pretty much hit all the points I was going to mention myself.

Such a mystery place you put together, my friend. And what a great show, impressive and very special. I had no idea this was made of all sorts of pieces of paper, so incredibly artfully, and perfectly put together, a really big plan, Helle. Pure joy, and so much more is hidden in this. Very special again, dear Helle.
