Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Fantastic artwork.....lovely depth and sense of expanse......!!

Let me guess, that's a photo of a couple sitting at night on the opposite shores of Lake Michigan, admiring the stars above and Chicago in the distance. Super well done, Helle, with great depth and effects.

(I popped out of bed and decided to comment on this, at last.) What a romantic, even fairy tale vision this is---I love it! The couple and I assume their dog, sitting on a park bench, looking over water---an inland portion of an ocean/sea?---onto an impressionistic skyline, with strong buildings in front and 'ghost' buildings in back. A huge metropolis---bigger than chicago or NYCity...and the sky gets gradually darker, ending in a literal blizzard of stars. What a conception! Your foreground has little blasts of bright green-yellows, like there are fireflies in there...and the stars fall right into the grasses (fairy-tale-like). And the buildings are so delightfully free and "suggestive". I can't figure out your medium---I see strong brush/palette knife strokes---acrylics? Or maybe it's digital. And, as I said before, if you put all those white dots in by hand, you should take 6 days off! Those dots fall over the whole image, like fairy dust...it's a magic kingdom: Wouldn't it be something to go to the Sea near your home, and see this??? (I smiled at Harry saying this was Lake Michigan and Chicago! I'd give anything to see a sight like this, in Chicago.) Wonderful and magical piece Helle! You've come back with a blast! However long you stay here, it's great to see this work from you! (Ok, I"m back to bed, and I'll dream of this landscape...)

Love this.

I like this one too! It could easily have been just a sappy scene of two people and a dog on a bench, but the city in the background gets sized up to much bigger than it would look in real life. It feels almost like the city is sitting there with them.

A most fantastic painting dear Helle. It is very interesting to study and interpret because you have a lot of "dark" fantasy hidden in it. Great the diffuse light (green on the foreground) and the numerous stars. Bravo to the artist!

A virtual reality to dream by, like in one of my books, when I was a child and loved reading it again and again... A haunting memory and surreal image for me. Glorious !!!
I think and vaguely remember the title: "Maerchen von 1001 Nacht" ...
