Description

It has been awhile since we checked in on our intrepid scholar, Sean Michael Stone, and his horse, Aristotle. When last we met, he was just leaving the cozy confines of town and headed into the unknown to the North. I thought it was time to see what he was up to. I don't normally wear a weapon, when I travel. Never really felt the need. However, the town folk had made a gift of a beautiful, ornate sword and scabbard and I was moving into regions I had never been in before. So, armed I went. The town folk had warned me that a vast stretch of swamp lay ahead. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't at all what I found. The swamp was immense. It stretched off, in all directions, as far as the eye could see. There was no recourse but to travel through it. We camped at the swamp edge and entered at first light, next morning. It was difficult going and dangers abounded. More then once, I had to make use of the sword hanging at my side. Huge snakes would appear from nowhere, quicksand lay in wait, and water filled pits lay ready to claim the unwary. It was with extreme relief that we came to the end before nightfall. Model

Paul, that is the best fog...and I know you did that right inside Vue, too. Those trees look really nicely textured, too. Great job on this. :O)

These keep getting better! 2 suggestions if they are not unwelcome: 1. If possible, soften the shadows and create more contrast - larger and deeper areas of light and dark, etc - would make for a more dramatic feel to the scene. 2. I wanna see the horsey's face!
