Description
This was a very big render... I set the render to 4 most of the times I have it set to 2 or under... Use face trans change the colour then changed colours in the outfit...Now my desk top has 2x 6 core processers and 48 Gb of ram this took 3 hrs to render... now if I was to have some movement over lets say 10 seconds at NTSC 24 frames my computer 24 x 10 x 3 hours about 800 hours allowing for some frames taking longer.... I need a render farm

I saw a video a couple months ago from LucasArts... They were showing some of the massive final space battle in "Rise of Skywalker" with something like 16,000 (or more) spaceships.. For a few minutes of battle it took somewhere around 2 million hours of render time.. And that was with their likely massive render farm...
Why I don't do much animation...

Very many thanks I do not have the room or the cash to set up a render farm In the 1st star wars movie the masks on the star war scene had 80 effects in it all masks in it was done by hand many many years ago I seen a short clip of a young lady doing the scene one frame at a time.. Now the movie world most films are in 70mm film each second of film has 24 frames that is a lot of mask work and by the way she had no chair
