Description

Hi everyone, this is for Lynn (ShadowsNTime). I left it huge, and much more will be visible that way; I'm sorry it's a bit blurred, small! I want to bow to Lynn, who hasn't been here in some time but who was part of the lives of a number of us a few years back. Her work touched all kinds of backgrounds---Native American (her upbringing), myth, folklore, love for animals (a constant for Lynn), love for nature (ditto), some pieces on her struggles, and so many with dance and celebration. And her amazing biographical writings, which we loved for their power and honesty, and for all she came through, and the love that ran through all of it. The image is my effort to explore nature's forms and light---with lots of light above all...Lynn, may you be whole and healthy through this difficult time, and may you always have light surrounding you. You've been a deeply loving and caring soul to all of us, and a gift; and I hope you get that gift back. I hope you're well, and wish you everything good that the universe has to offer. Happy BIrthday, with blessings, wholeness, humility and love, mark (Everyone: I'm getting over a back problem, but I'll comment very soon, I promise---I've seen everything. Be healthy, all) ------------------

A most beautiful and colorful dedication to Lynn. The upper image reminds me of leaves falling in a multi-hued forest. The bottom three makes me think of explosions of light in colour.

I like the way they all link together. Scrolling through them is like climbing through a large pile of leaves and back into the bright sunshine. A cool set of colorful images and a very nice dedication, too.

As always, your analysis-synthesis operation is fascinating and also simply wonderful. There is much of the research and analysis of ShadowsNTime's works of which, thanks to this beautiful dedication of yours, I had reason to revise the gallery and discover its deeper aspects. As you say, a great love for nature with particular attention to animals. I also thank you for your comment on my latest work, always very careful and profound, it is always a great pleasure to read your words. I also want to give you my most sincere wishes for your health, and I will be very happy when I know that it has improved. Greetings to you my dear friend.

Ooops, sorry I've been away on, or from, Renderosity, but more physical problems have arisen for me to endure, made even worse by my doctor being unavailable due to her uncaring automated telephone message system. My headaches are back. But I digress. Your birthday tribute instantly reminded me of whenever I mix the ingredients I use to make an omelet. Olives, mushrooms, eggs, etc. Scrambled eggs city. Of course if I ever saw a red liquid while stirring up the ingredients I would toss out the whole mix, thinking it had been contaminated with chicken blood. Back to the artistic side of all this, you offer terrific stuff, employing your usual patented colorful, quasi transparent, art motif, Mark. Anyway, happy birthday to your native America friend, Lynn. Be well my friend, hope your aching back and shoulder have responded to treatment.

Thank you Mark, for the image and your kind words:) "in gay profusion" comes to mind, a virtual cloud burst of confetti raining down on everyone...this party of light and color so beautiful...also bringing laughter as I too see an omelet in the making. You have given me reason to add an image of my own to maybe uplift the spirit of others during this difficult time. I hope you are well and continue to be, love and light your way my friend
