I can never get over how much variety you get in this series, it's like each piece is the first in the series...great jeweled, compacted, royal pendant of a piece---you've packed in the jewels, cut glass, metal parts and hues: The bug's body is a packed jeweled pendant, you have that green and deep pink in the center, rich amber tones around it, radiant reds and whites on the legs, w/ oranges on the upper legs, and more of your chrome-like orange wings. These are like mandalas, in that they invite us to move through all the layers to get to a deep meditative center (what mandalas are for); and each variation is just another gilded pathway to that prized place. The Tibetan Buddhists w/ their sand mandalas would love this series. Terrific.
