(I picture you posting a black and white bug, and your fans screaming, "what the---????") (thing is, you could probably make a black and white bug as beautiful as your color bugs) This is gorgeous. You have deep purples, and some lighter purples...against those bright aqua blues. They make eye popping contrasts. And those wings---your wings are a smooth sensual contrast to your bejeweled bodies. And the wings here have deep modulated pinks w/ some blues. Even this bug's eyes are pink and aqua blue: They're like beacons! Headlights...You know, when one studies bugs (maybe you have), you realize that the insect kingdom is loaded with the most fantastic forms: Stained glass wings, iridescent bodies, colliding geometric forms everywhere---they're walking glass and ceramic sculptures; and they're freakin' everywhere, yet most of us don't see them because they're too small. But people should be alerted that they have a plethora of art objects creeping all over...and your gallery has made that point for several years now. Another luminous jeweled creature from you. (And you have some fire reds here too. Would this be considered a bug pinup?)
