oooh I love this completely unexpected vision...the woman is a royal procession of browns and golds, to match her beautiful brown skin. Her black hair and eyes are great contrast too. And she truly seems to be waiting; she has the perfect posture, arm out, head tilted...Then that long processional of columns---on two levels too (with ground-to-ceiling pillars every so often). It's like an endless temple, and the details on the pillars are rich; and you've given such an array of colors, incl gold and chrome greens, reds, blues, etc. It's so exotic. And you cut the image off so nothing but the pillars fill it---you cropped it (if that applies) like a photograph, cramming the facade into the whole piece, so it's packed and cloistered. Magical colors, which suit Steve, whose colors are about as vivid as anyone's here. Terrific, Barb. Your imagination never ceases to surprise and delight me, and you always combine it with a real sense of balance and grace. Wonderful dedi for Steve. Happy Birthday Steve, and many more!!!
