As a boy I wandered field and mountain, desert and ocean, forest and the icy reaches at the top and bottom of our world, and each place I found was another mystery waiting for me to discover. One day I found a silver doorway set into the side of a tall mountain. There were such detailed carvings of moons and planets and stars and all those things beyond our own small planet that I pulled the door open without hesitation, and within was the infinite apeirogon. I traveled the apeirogon on the back of a moonbeam I had rescued from the Land of Shadows. In time, I came to the Crystal Universe, and there I live to this day, writing of all I have seen.

The black and white sketch-effects mirrors a lonely and cold mood I think we all can relate to right now, The hard, stone steps and wall with jagged edge, adds to the mood. He looks cautious and wary; a good pose for this scene.
I'm finding it hard to concentrate these days, too. Hang on in there!

Cool pov and detail! Looks like someone is going to check on his treasure. I'll just tag quietly along in the shadows...

Whatever project you're doing, I hope you'll feel like getting back into writing when the muse knocks. (Or if the project is writing, I hope it's going well.) No writer can argue with being stilled or burnt out, or exhausted with writing. You pour a lot of your soul into writing, I imagine there are times when you just can't do it. I wish you all the best with whatever you're doing.
This is a panoramic image, full size. A big stone stairwell, and your pov is very dramatic. And your treatment is this intense black and white, with heavy grain and rough detail which travels along very regular stairs and stones. Like a big medieval stairwell to dust and debris below. I've been struck at how many of your images are visual-stories---no surprise, given that you're a terrific story teller, but not many writers can create stories in images, if they can create images at all. This image sure shouts "story". Love the guy's gaze---intense, almost sinister, w/ a great 19th C. pirate-type outfit. And a palette-knifed sky. Impressive piece, full size! All the best with your projects. You're a very inventive, soulful and sensitive creative. Stay well and healthy!
