Description
"Okay, now look at your screen. The blue line is the course we just plotted, and the red line is our heading right now. You want to very gently apply thrust until the two lines come together, okay? Don’t forget to make the announcement first, so everybody knows we’re about to accelerate."
Libertarian traders are families who own and operate their own starships, making a living by transporting goods and people between worlds. The ship is both home and business, and everybody has to pitch in to keep it going. That means teaching the kids how to do all the different tasks necessary to keep a starship running, including (as shown here) being the pilot. Piloting a bulk transport, with an acceleration no more than a 1/10 of a g under the best conditions, is not the most exciting job in the universe. But it has to be done if the family is to make a living.
I'm not sure why there don't seem to be very many science fiction pictures of children; it's a good bet that people in the future are not going to stop having them. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy this one.

This image is very interesting, not only because it is very well done, with a good point of view, excellent poses and expressions, but also because it tells a story...A superb science fiction scene that is out of the ordinary...Great work !!
