Description
George Floyd was killed by the actions of four police officers in Minnesota. Over a counterfeit bill at a convenience store. Clearly that was unnecessary, unreasonable, and inhumane force.
We must make our voices heard and demand justice for Floyd and others mistreated by out-of-line officers. But NOT, BUT NOT, at the expense of damaging property or harming people.
Attacking police officers, destroying our homes and our shops helps NOTHING and NO ONE.
(And to be VERY CLEAR, there are those who are using the protests SOLELY AS AN EXCUSE to commit crime and chaos. Simply because they think they can. They, along with the police officers involved in Floyd's death, need to be brought to justice and made examples out of.)
And lest ANYONE forgets: Coronavirus is still here, infecting and killing people. Over ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND Americans have died from Covid-19 since the infections first came to our shores in late January of this year. It's not going anywhere anytime soon, and our actions WILL make it worse!
We're supposed to be better than this!

watching CNN now, yes more BS going on with very stupid people. C'mon man it's been established on your anger, enough is enough. cool image Wes.
guess some folks / A holes, think they have the right to loot cause were upset. so in their minds it's legal. they owe us!
Richardphotos
very cool showdown and sense of scale

Just saw on the news here, there's now a curfew in the Kansas City city limits. Protesters refusing to leave the Plaza area. WTF is this going to do to get justice for Floyd or ANYONE??? Burning cars. Breaking windows. Looting businesses. How does that relate to justice for this man? Grow the F##K up, people! As if this never-ending COVID issue isn't enough...
Fortunately we haven't had that (yet) in KC, or the metro area. But come on, folks... This isn't 1968. Have we progressed at all?

Awesome render and you certainly make good points to the situation. Excellent sense of scale really impressive work.

Coming from the UK I have been watching the riots on CNN and although I do not agree with those just out for trouble with the looting, burning of the shops and violence etc...I am behind those fighting for justice against a force who thinks it is right to behave like animals and murder people in broad daylight what over a fake $20 bill? You are so right RodS it is not 1968 so why are some of the police still acting like it is...May Mr George Floyd R.I.P...……….Wonderful image my friend.

We are also watching CNN news, I am from Luxembourg! You are 100% right dear Wes, please take care of you and your family, especially now that America is burning like Hell, it's horrible! 😱 What a diseaster, 40% of the population without job and they will all get very hungry. That evil Twitter Fuck-Face 😈 did really a great Job, he has transformed this beautiful Country into a big Shithole!!! Our souls are crying for all the good friends that we have in the States! 😢 (Sorry for the bad language, but I had to say that, because it's the naked truth). My hubby and I send a lot of Strength to ALL the Americans to survive this Crisis!

I work two jobs and barely have time to visit galleries, but am glad I did tonight. This is a difficult time and I will be sure and keep you in my prayers.

Fantastic !

Yes! In senseless times like these, the criminal elements are doing their worst to take advantage of these highly emotionally charged gatherings. It is proven the crooks are being imported into all the gatherings so they can spread more fear and damage. I pray we get through this in one piece and pray for all the victims of the senseless acts of violence!

Same in UK - huge crowds demonstrating - and many of them among the group with highest risk. I would not be surprised if here were a second, and stronger, wave of infections resulting from all this.
