this is so hypnotic...it's the intense drawing, w/ flat, total black for hair, beard, and shadows around his eyes, nose, etc...but then surrounded by this primal rock, like you found this in a cave in the Rockies: a prehistoric painting...A harsh ghost of a face, with strong bleeding lines for his torso, and for the smoke coming from (I assume) a cigarette. (Yes?) And then all that rugged cracked rock. Great job in PS. And putting the guy on one side gives emphasis to the rock/paper, like this is part of a large ancient wall. I really like this, Steve. Very intense on all scores.
