Description

Shelter in place as offered up the opportunity for our little family to get to know each other a little bit better and more intimately, so to speak. Carla, our bass playing, soon-to-be Ichthyologist, we learn has an older sister, Gina. Gina was in an automobile accident in her early teens. She lost both her legs below the knee. After a lot of loving care from her family and friends, and rehabbing, she found a new mission in life. She wanted to help people like herself. To make a long story short, Gina went on to get her masters degrees in Psychology, Sports Therapy, and Bio-Mechanical Engineering. The girl has some serious energy (LOL)!!! She is currently working with veterans for the local VA Hospital where she is definitely everyone's favorite physical therapist!!!! She has decided to come up here to our humble abode and visit her sister and friends. Need I say, Gina is a much needed ray of sunshine. We are all kind of moping around here like lost souls. Gina has a much different outlook on life. She feels everyday you wake up, you have a fresh start and to be thankful for everything that you do have. She totally accepts her situation and goes forth like it is nothing more than a bump in the road. We should be seeing her around for a while. Enjoy. Note: The Blade Runner prosthetics can be found over at DAZ if you are interested. I'm really glad someone made them for reasons I won't get into here. Let's just say it helps to include more people into our little artistic community.
