At this point I'm stressed and heading for a nervous breakdown with so much going on. So yeah I need a place to just take it easy and worry not. Very true my friend. Great work.

This is so unusual and unexpected---this woman is sitting in such an amazing place...it looks like the porch of a building---but such an unusual porch: It's like a very old stone building, filled with moss and mold and decayed stone, with a deep dark cavern below, and we don't know what's behind her---a door? more stairs? (mysteries...) And she sits totally at one with herself, which adds even more mystery to the piece. A snapshot, whole and completely self-contained, where we don't know who she is or where she is, but it's all complete and peaceful. And it looks like it's in an overgrown forest. (I mean, it could be in a city block, but it feels like it's way in the forest.) Terrific work, Barb, really imaginative; and I'm sure there are a lot of people who'd like to be there right now. (And thanks for your comment. I'd just heard of the boogaloo movement for the first time---lovely bunch!---in fact a friend sent me a link about them just a few days ago re the protests. From what you say, they do a great job camouflaging themselves. Isn't it heartening how people crash positive-meaning movements in order to take them down---or, in some cases, to simply steal? High principle...And I totally agree about the dog whistle...((everyone, vote this fall!)) ) Hope you're well and that your surroundings are moving towards health and wholeness. I wish you all the best.

Looks very old, worn and over grown. The material looks like concrete like something used for longevity and heavy use. Impressive image. Well done!

What a perfect spot for this kind of portrait. It looks peaceful, if a bit "forgotten," but then there's that ominous dark space beneath. Very evocative!

It is sure that it is difficult to find peace and rest in this world at this time! Many things we loved have become dangerous, but we must keep the image of the best days in our hearts. A little sad but very touching image, my friend!

She has surrounded herself with stone, rust and shadow... all wrapped in lovely, green growing vines. I think that's a hopeful sign. She looks content and comfortable and that's where healing begins.

Awwwww....even the very brave can feel isolated and alone. This perfectly illustrates that feeling... (the green of the ivy is a touch of hope.). Well played!!
