At this close-distance, these tacks look like Halloween candy! (Well, without the metal prongs...) I love the irregularities and imperfections here, which we never see at normal size. And again, you let soft-focus dominate, so we feel we've intruded on a 'private moment'. (I'm not sure tacks have 'private moments', lol, but it sure feels like we've intruded on something intimate, here.) Wonderful series, Christian. And these closeups illustrate what Pop artists loved in their own work: seeing day-to-day objects as huge, close-up, even explosive; they made us see those objects as fresh, new, and as art.
